Does the school board understand what inclusive education is? Do they think it’s important? Do they think students receiving services matter and should be invested in? Do they know there are many parents, caregivers, students, community members, and professionals who advocate for meaningful inclusion for all?
Providing a School Board, or a Board of Education with a public comment on the importance and different aspects of meaningful inclusion can be a powerful tool for change within a district.
